Cesar Cornejo, Associate Professor of Art at the University of South Florida, earned his PhD in Fine Arts at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. He has received grants from the Creative Capital Foundation, the New York Foundation for the Arts, and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, and his work, which explores the relationship between art, architecture, and society, has been exhibited at the V Bienal Barro de América, the Busan Biennial 2008, and the XII Havana Biennial.
