Therman Statom, one of 36 United States Artists Fellows for 2015, is an American Studio Glass artist. “New Windows Looking Back” is a weekend-long event that will involve children at the Midway Safe Harbor Community Center in the creation of a monumental glass sculpture inspired by Hurston’s Their Eyes Were Watching God.
